- Develops and executes a successful business plan in a respective territory which meets and exceeds annual budget and forecasted sales goals.
- Develop and expand our presence with existing and new products offerings with existing and prospective customers.
- Provides market input regarding existing products to ensure that New Way remains a leader within the industry.
- Regularly track progress on sales activities as well as execute the initiatives/actions as established by Company.
- Effectively create and conduct sales and product presentations to sales reps, distributors and end users.
- Plan regular visits to distributors and independent sales representatives in the territory to maintain current business and develop new business.
- Supports local, regional and national trade shows through attendance, customer interaction and support.
- Directly manage major and critical developing client accounts and coordinate the management of all other accounts.
- Promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors.
- Actively engage, cultivate, and manage sales relationships to ensure coverage surrounding programs, special events, public announcements, and other projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field is required.
- A minimum of five years’ sales experience.
- Ability to travel up to 60% with a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Controls expenses by exercising good judgement related to business.
- Excellent Written and verbal communication skills.
- Superior self-management, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
- Technical, industrial or automotive problem-solving related experience.
- Proven track record of working successfully and independently in a sales role.
- Experience forecasting sales and building a customer base.
- Natural leader with proven territory sales management skills.
- Demonstrate excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Ability to make decisions in a changing environment and anticipate future needs.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Ability to make decisions and evaluate the risks involved.
